:-) You need to extract the 43.3 vice from 3.9 using Blizkick, then load it in 3.1 using LoadModule. The only problem I have left is using pen 0 for IBrowse buttons.įor the 3.1 using >4Gb, Thomas helped me on that one. Opening its own screen would use loads of extra memory and I like to have maximum memory for browsingĪnyway, I fixed the text problem by just using a lighter background and the background problem by ignoring custom colours. It's the only screen where I can lock all 16 colours (with LoadCMAP) - otherwise I'm stuck with stupid colour mappingĢ. I open IBrowse on Workbench screen for two reasons:ġ. I have a fairly dark background window image for IBrowse - is there a way to change the text colour for "Location" and link rollover. Is there a way to use pen 0 in IBrowse buttons? (before remapping, I saw some buttons had the background colour, but I don't know how I should map it)ģ. Does IBrowse require Active Fill Shine to be white? (Does IBrowse assume Active Shine is white and use it for page background?)Ģ. IBrowse windows have dark background and text is too darkġ. IBrowse pages have strange background colour problems I have had loads of problems with colourmapping conflicts between VisualPrefs, Birdie, Titleshadow and IBrowse (which I thought I'd share).įor Birdie to work, Inactive Fill can not equal Background, Active Fill can not equal Background, "Don't optimize border rendering" must be checked and background must be pen 0 (if not, only Active Window has pattern, which is fine for me).įor TitleShadow to work on Active and Inactive, Active Fill can not equal Inactive Fill (otherwise only Active Window shadow is used for both). I've nearly finished the most kick-ass configuration of an Amiga 500 ever seen.
